Geoffrey lives & works in Wales, using porcelain for its fine texture and whiteness of ground to enhance the colour rather like a canvas.
He sprays the surface of the forms with colours allowing him to build up overlapping layers of slip, glaze and oxides. He creates ceramic objects that are not simply coated in glaze but have an essential and inseparable relationship of form and surface.
Geoffrey’s work has been included in many international exhibitions and publications with solo shows in London and New York. Examples are held in over forty museums & public collections throughout the world including the Victoria and Albert & the National Museum of Wales.
