About the maker:
Kathryn Arbon's one-off designs are inspired by ancient script, Greek and Celtic patterns. They incorporate hidden words and messages to be found by the wearer and combine one-off pieces and limited editions, often incorporating unusual gemstones in her designs. Some of Kathryn's pieces are made using techniques such as wax carving for casting, and Keum-Boo.
After studying Metals at Plymouth College of Art Kathryn worked as a jobbing jeweller on the South coast of England. She is currently based in Plymouth and alongside making bespoke commission pieces, she also leads jewellery classes and workshops.
