TT Designs Jewellery Box - Macintosh Rose TT7

This beautiful wooden jewellery box has been lovingly handcrafted from solid Oak. The attractive marquetry Mackintosh Rose design on the lid of the jewellery box has been intricately hand cut from Rosewood, Sycamore and coloured Bird's Eye Maple veneers. 

The internal tray can be removed to reveal more storage space underneath.

The internal removable tray provides the ideal storage space for cufflinks, rings or necklaces.

The small handle is solid Pear and has been hand carved from what used to be a grand piano damper.  The Walnut dowels not only add a decorative feature to the jewellery box but also add strength to the mitre joint.  Ensuring this beautiful jewellery box can be treasured and admired for generations to come.

Each unique marquetry works of art have been signed and dated on the back to authenticate originality. It also lists the veneers used to create the unique piece of art.

Theresa's stunning hand cut marquetry designs make each Trinket box truly unique. They make perfect presents, whether for yourself or someone else, whatever the occasion.

Specialising in bespoke hand cut marquetry and producing original one off designs Theresa takes them from the drawing board right through to the hand making process.  She likes to incorporate her unique marquetry designs into each piece she makes, whether it is a bespoke luxury jewellery box or a fine piece of commissioned furniture. Her contemporary designs give a modern edge to a traditional art form.

Theresa graduated with a BA (Hons) Degree in Product Design from Sheffield Hallam University and then undertook a Furniture Making course at the Colchester Institute where she achieved a Distinction and was nominated for a City and Guilds Gold Medal for Excellence.  She has worked as a furniture and piano restorer for 10 years before launching TT Designs.

Theresa now runs her woodworking studio on picturesque farmland in the Essex countryside providing the perfect location for her to draw inspiration for her natural contemporary design
