What can you make as a Flux Jewellery Student?

At Flux we host many wonderful Jewellery Smithing courses and classes where you learn basic and more advanced silver smithing skills.

Our 'Weekly Beginners' courses students will learn the key silversmithing techniques like sawing, filing, soldering, hammering/texturing and polishing. This course is a wonderful way to kickstart their jewellery smithing portfolio, allowing for freedom to create unique and individual pieces in their own style.

Our 'Weekly Improvers' courses are for people with prior jewellery smithing experience and have knowledge of the basic skills which they can build on whilst learning new and more advanced skills to give their portfolio more depth and variation. These skills include keum-boo, stone setting, making chain and many more.

Our 'Weekly Mixed- Ability' courses are for both beginner and improving students!

If you attend one of our 'Short Courses' you will spend 2.5 - 3.5 hours at our Flux Studio making rings, pendants/charms, bangles, earrings and much more. These workshops are suitable for complete beginners and those who have prior experience! You will be taught in a step-by-step process to make your desired jewellery creation.
