An Evening of Ring Making & Wine at One B Coffee House on Cotham Hill

Join us for a creative, wine-fuelled evening of silversmithing where you’ll learn how to hammer and texture your very own sterling silver ring using traditional techniques – no experience needed!

Guided by our brilliant tutor Sarah, you'll be introduced to the tools and methods of ring making in a relaxed, sociable setting. The rings will be pre-formed with a smooth surface, so all you need to do is choose your texture and get hammering! Explore different styles and techniques, then take home a handmade silver ring that’s uniquely yours.

Hosted at our favourite neighbourhood coffee shop (and Flux gallery neighbour), One B Coffee House, with a curated wine selection by Corks of Cotham Hill.

What to Expect:

• A hands-on silversmithing session (very beginner friendly!)

• Expert guidance from Flux tutor Sarah

• A relaxed evening with music, drinks, and great company

• 10% off any of our silversmithing courses in the future!

• A beautiful, hand-textured sterling silver ring made by you!

The ring texturing session lasts around 20–30 minutes, and the rest of the evening is yours to relax, enjoy a drink, and socialise in good company so please arrive by 6pm!

Gold plating is optional and can be discussed with Sarah on the night!

• Solara Orange Wine (Romania) – Dry, textural and aromatic with notes of apricot, quince, and orange peel; lightly tannic with a refreshing finish.

• Borsao Garnacha 2023 (Spain) – Juicy, medium-bodied red packed with ripe plum and bramble fruit.

Spaces fill up fast! You’re welcome to come along without a ticket, but it's unlikely you'll be able to make a ring unless you book in advance!
