Caitlin currently doesn't have any work with us in Flux at the moment. She is showcasing at Goldsmith's fair in London and will be back soon!

Caitlin graduated from The Glasgow School of Art in 2022 and being a third generation silversmith, she has always had a passion for challenging boundaries through making, creating and designing. She hand weaves niobium and carefully attaches the slivers to silver frames.

The material is anodised using electricity to achieve a range of colours and all the brooches are unique as each will have a slightly different weave size / pattern / colour..! It is a hypoallergenic material so easy to clean.

Caitlin was awarded one of ten Graduate Bursary stands at Goldsmith’s Fair 2023 and only one of two UK makers to be awarded a Graduate Bursary Stand at Elements Fair 2023.

She is also now a QEST Emerging Maker which will allow Caitlin to focus on her new challenge of gold alloying and weaving and working in gold, expanding her niobium designs and focusing on engraving and enamelling.
