Collection: Esther Connon

Esther Connon studied Illustration at Falmouth and Brighton University and now works from her studio on the north coast of Cornwall, in a converted building that was once the grammar school she attended.

A lifelong passion for storytelling runs through Esther’s work, which is strongly narrative in nature. Her stories are often told entirely through images, using minimal or no text. Inspired by small, quiet observations of the world around her, her illustrations often take viewers on unexpected journeys that drift far from the familiar.

Since completing her MA in 2009, Esther has founded The Old School Press, where she self-publishes beautifully crafted small editions of children’s books.
