Stephanie Carlton is a ceramicist based out of her home studio in Norfolk. Originally from Australia, she moved to the UK in 2003 after her BA Hons in printmaking and painting to continue her art.
Her work in ceramics has been developing alongside her printmaking and mixed media collage. Her porcelain jewellery is also gaining in popularity as she develops her craft.
Inspired by maps and journeys, she brings this element into her work as are materials such as wax, gold and thread, as part of the making process, or as seen in the finished pieces that she has created.
