This Willow Tit is one of an ongoing series of birds made from contrasting hardwoods. comprises of sycamore, ash and black walnut. Perch in stained ash which allows the Tit to sit in a variety of poses.
Finishing oil finish. Best kept out of direct sunlight to avoid lightbleaching.

About the maker:
Curio Studio was started by Tom Wilson, a practicing architect, in 2013. It was born out of a desire to practice a more complete creating process, enabling design and making to inform one another, in a way that they can only do when the designer is the maker.
Chosen materials are natural, responsibly sourced and will often become more beautiful with age and use. I aspire to make objects that are considered, original and of heirloom quality. Tom is based in Bristol.
