Emily is a very well known and shown ceramic artist who creates her porcelain lamps and vases from her home studio in Nightingale Valley, Bristol. Surrounded by woods and fascinated by the natural world, she captures in relief form, the fine details of seed heads, flowers, ferns, buds, leaves and grasses, in each handmade and unique piece. Her lamps come to life when light is added, highlighting the fragile and delicate nature of the fauna and the translucent properties of the Porcelain. We've been enjoying their quality in the gallery in the dark afternoons of winter, bringing a warmth and smile to all.
