About the maker:

Sandra is a jeweller based in South Wales, where she practices the Korean kuem-boo technique with gold and silver. She roll-prints to create her wave textures which accompany the contrasting gold.

Her jewellery story started through art teaching in several areas around the world and returned many years later to the UK as a maker. Her wonderful pieces have lots of Asian influence from when she lived there. Now back in Wales, she is taking inspiration from the natural landscapes around her. 

In our Flux gallery we are showcasing her Naiyang collection - its namesake taken from her favourite beach in Phuket. The wave patterns and sea creatures are reflected in her pieces. in Sandra's words: 'The Naiyang collections reflect my love of this place. Touches of gold on silver, and flashes of colour from gemstones adding a hint of luxury to quietly dazzle and enjoy anytime.'
