As the metal is stretched and raised through repeated hammer blows. Tension forms in the metal rather than trying to fight this force, Willow works with it. The material led process of discovery results in a harmonious organic form at once under tension and simultaneously relaxed. Giving each vessel in the series its unique form. Its namesake - 'Tendere' comes from the Latin meaning 'to stretch'.

Inspired by a curious temperament, Willow Bloomfield crafts organically forged metalwork. Willow's work is balanced by a playful, creative spirit, and the observation and study of nature.

Using hammer forming, repoussé techniques as well as meticulous craftmanship and a unique aesthetic language they create sculpture, lighting and future heirlooms to delight for generations.
