Our next exhibition is 'Where Stories Begin' -  David Chilton's solo exhibition.

Bristol based ceramicist David Chilton was born in the West Country and studied studied at Cardiff.  He works in the medium of porcelain paper clay; hand building delicate, figurative vessels and sculpture from sheets of clay. Formed by a technique developed and refined over time; his work is enhanced by the use of glazes, precious lustres and metallic oxides. 

David  takes particular inspiration from a variety of mediaeval and 18th Century techniques, references in decorative and fine art as well as historical and contemporary fashion.
