Apple Wood Vessel XIV is a one-of-a-kind vessel, hand-turned by Alexei Sawyer. Its rounded body tapers to a small base beneath an uneven, crown-like rim. Pale and honey-toned grain contrasts with darker sections along the natural edge.
A sculptural piece to display on its own, with the timber’s markings and changing outline visible from every side.

About Alexei Sawyer
Alexei creates sculptural wooden vessels guided by the timber’s natural character. His approach embraces irregularity through the philosophy of wabi-sabi, using locally sourced wood and natural, non-toxic finishes without petrochemical resins or plastics.
